My name is Tami Hayes. I have lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life. Born and raised in Gresham, Oregon, I graduated from Sam Barlow High School, "Go Bruins." After high school, I went to Mount Hood Community College, where I studied Psychology while earning my dental assistant license. I started my dental career working with my father, who was an Endodontist. With his expertise, he trained me to be efficient, observant and detailed oriented as his chairside assistant. In 2009 my dad got ill and had to retire. That is when I joined a large Endodontic dental group here in Vancouver.
Living here in Vancouver with my two teenagers and a ball crazy yellow lab named Daisy. I have loved my 20 years in dentistry, earning the title of the lead assistant. With many office duties consisting of training all assistants, ordering supplies, and making sure the office ran on time, dealing with patients' anxieties, and pain management. I feel that it has helped me to become an expert to my client's in giving them proper client care during a stressful time.
In 2016 I made the jump and became a Realtor in the Southwest Washington area. It has been the best decision I have made for myself and my children. In 2017 I got my certification in Negotiation. Also, that year Shelly Caswell ask me to be one of her buyer agents with her guidance and expertise I have become a detailed and efficient agent. In 2019 I accomplished receiving my Oregon's Real Estate license. In January of 2020, I decided it was time for me to leave Caswell Partner's and be a solo agent again. I know that my education and training will serve me well when helping my clients through all their real estate needs.
I feel communication and identifying all parts of the market are vital in keeping you the client informed. That includes always knowing the ever-changing interest rates and making sure that communicate with my clients so I achieve excellent customer care that will leave that lasting impression from that first meeting, to well after the transaction is closed. I love the excitement in finding that perfect home for the ideal family than helping them through the whole transaction to make sure that it goes as smoothly and stress-free for my clients as possible.
Keeping my clients educated and informed throughout the entire process helps my client feel at ease, knowing that I always have their best interests first. There are so many things I love about being a realtor in this fun and unique job. If I had to use one word to describe it, that would be the EXCITEMENT of it all. It doesn't matter if you are a buyer or seller; there's always excitement. The thrill that comes with every one of my clients, and the friendships that come out of each and one of my transactions, is priceless.
